Ingredients
- 3 slices Sandwich bread
- butter as required
- Cilantro chutney
- 1 medium potato, boiled and sliced into rounds
- 1 small cucumber thinly sliced
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small bell pepper , thinly sliced
- 1 medium tomato ,thinly sliced
- Grated cheese
- Sandwich masala or chaat masala
- Griddle or a grill sandwich press
Method
- Spread the butter on three slices. Spread generously, so bread will not become soggy after spreading chutney.
- Now spread about 1 ½ teaspoon of Cilantro chutney on each slices.
- Now place few sliced of potatoes in single layer. Sprinkle some sandwich masala.
- Next place cucumber slices and sprinkle some sandwich masala.
- Now arrange onion slices and sprinkle some sandwich masala.
- close the sandwich with another bread slice. Then place sliced bell pepper and sprinkle some masala on top.
- Next place tomato slices and sprinkle some masala.
- Lastly grated cheese and again sprinkle some masala.
- Close with last bread slice, chutney side down.
- Apply butter on top and grill it till it is crisp.
- remove the grilled sandwiches with a wooden spatula.
- Cut the sandwich into 4 pieces using a sharp knife.
- Serve immediately with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
